Getting some trips to Red Lotus Lake and
Banchiang Museum at Udon Thani Province.
The first journey we as seateacher students
and our buddies followed by some lecturers visited in Udon Thani Province was going to Red Lotus Lake taking about an
hour to get there by car. We began our trip at 5 PM. Therefore, we arrived at
the place we wanted to visit was around 6 o’clock. Our lecturers told us that
we should have been back and went to the next destination at 10 PM.

We took a picture on the bride before riding the boat. |
After
buying some ticket for being able to ride the boat used to explore the Red
Lotus Late, we, consiting of 6 people in each boat, we rented went to look
around the Red Lotus Lake scene. The weather was so fresh , so we can breath
freely. Morning is the best time to see the red flowers covering the Lotus Lake
surface as they bloom in the morning. It costed 100 bath per person, thus it
would be 600 bath for riding one boat.

At that time, It was a children day. So, no wonder, in every streets or some location in Thailand, they effect some activities to celebrate this special day for children What they do is usually singing a song and giving the present if he or she is the winner. Like what i did in the bank of Red Lotus Lake. I helped some people to blow the balloons in the perpose of decorating the stage for the children's performance at that time.
After
taking a look at Red Lotus Lake, we went to the traditional market locating in
the bank of that lake. The price of the items sold in that market was quite
cheap. I bought cloth for my mom. The cost was 270 bath. It is average for me.
After
that, we visited Banchian Museum locting not far form Red Loctus Lake in which
it took about 30 minutes to get that place. Arriving at the museum, we were
greeted by the guide telling about the history of museum establishment. It was
officially built by a king.
Inside
of the museum, It exhibited the heritage of the previous people especially
about their lives including how they survived, how to get the foods, and how
they treated the died people. The ancestors of banchiang people used to take
the died people particularly for children. They, the adult people took their
children in the Hai. The scientists found the ancestors’ bones in it.
Here
are the pictures i captured inside of the banchiang museum.

In front of the musium, there were many trader selling the products. Some of them sold souvenirs, handicrafts, clothes, and trousers. Due to children day, some of traders gave es cream freely for everybody passing their store. The taste is very delicious because it is free hehehe.. Taking a look at the products showing in that market, I was interested to buy some key chains symbolizing of banchiang musium such as earthware flash with a neck. It had already been noon, occordingly we had to get back to our dorm by riding the bus.
