1. Observation on Teacher in the
Classroom
The
first activity i did in the first week according to the agenda having been set
by seameo is observation, In this occasion, I observed everything about the
school including how the school looks like, how they teach in the class, what
technique they utilized to control the class, and the activies they usually do
everyday. Observation in this regard is one of method in collecting the datas
needed by observing and taking a note directly in the location to justify the
research. Therefore, as the teacher was teaching in the class, i watched her
way in teaching by siting in the back of the class and taking a note of any
important informations i got in detail.
Mathayopm
3 is the class level i conducted observation in the class. The name of english
teacher i observed in her class is Mom Kun. In the ban makkhaeng school she
takes care of 3/5, 3/6, 3/7 and 3/8 class . Accodingly, i did my observation in
3/5, 3/6, 3/7 and 3/8 class. In her class, I have done observation many times
to strengthen my observation report. In that week, i could do obervation since
this school has done O-Net test which is a national examination for thai
students conducted in the January, 2nd 2019.
3.1 Planning for Teaching
Planning for teaching
is the unual agenda every teacher has to teach the students. In thai, it
contains the topics and the dates when the topics should be taught and finished
before the time having been determined by education minister in Thailand. For
one topic in thai, they usually devide it into three meetings to strenghten the
materials they learn. Meanwhile, it is different with indonesia. We commonly
deliver one topic just in the one meeting and for the next meeting they will
just review the previous topc to remind the students again about that, and
continue the next materials they have to learn.
3.2 Preparing Lessons and Materials
In preparing the lesson
plan the teacher used Extra Access 3 book for the source of the meterial they
are going to teach to the students. In this book, there are some topics that
should be accomplished to teach in a year. Most of them are about grammar such
as present tense, present continous, question tags,comparative degree and so
on. In delivering the material, they also used some electronic media to play
some videos or musics to boast ther enthusiasm in learning english. For the
students the students were given Extra Access 3 Book specializing in doing
exercise.
3.3 Teaching in Class
There
are 4 steps when the teacher of ban makkhaeng school did her teaching in her
class,namely:

Warm
up
The teacher opened the
meeting and checked the students readiness either physically or
psychologically. After that, she gave the stimulation of what they would learn.
·
In
the second until forth section in the learning process, i noticed that the
techer used PPP TEFL Teaching Methodology as a method to teach the students in
the main activity.
a
Presentation
It is an aspect of
language in a context that students are familiar with. For example, the teacher
gave the the formula of present tense when she wanted to explain about
comparative degree.

Practice
In this case, the
students will be bestowed an activity that gives them alot of opportiunities to
practice new aspect of language and become familiar with it. In this regard the
teacher gave some instruction or exercise to check their understanding by the
guidance of the teacher. For instance, she asked the students to answer the
question together with her.
c
Production
Allowing the students
to find out the answer by themselves is the part of production. The teacher
gave an opportunity for the students to do the exercise by themselves without
the teacher’s hand.

Wrap
up.
The teacher ends the class by drawing
summarize and tell what they would do in the next meeting.
3.4 Measurement and Evaluation
For the measurement,
especially for the multiple questions, they usually put a peace of paper on the students’s answer sheet and gives black
remark if they answer wrongly. After that they give the score in the right
coner of the paper. As an addition, for the written evaluation, they would be
done the excercises in the access 3 workbook that has been given previously.
3.5 Overall impression to the Teacher
Performances
The performance of my
teacher while teaching was great. She by using her funny characteristic can
make the class more vivid. She can banish the students’ boredom by using some
medias too. In order to get the students’ interest, she sometimes gives a gift
for those who can answer the question correctly. As she taught the student, she
can be flexible up to the situation.
